I sometimes wonder if we are aware of how much God loves us.
He awakens us in the morning with a beautiful sunrise.
Do we acknowledge it?
He provides for our every need.
Are we grateful?
He is the shepherd of our heart.
Do we allow Him to lead us in paths of righteousness.
He sends His Holy spirit to comfort us.
Do we accept it?
He forgives all our sins.
Do we forgive others?
Lastly He gives us the most awesome sunsets.
Do we even see it?
So often, I have woken up and gone through my day, moaning and complaining.
I forget to have a quiet time and then blame God and everybody else when things spiral out of control.
The most amazing thing is God is always there. he doesn't switch off and leave me. He pursues me with love. Gently tugging at my heart strings, to return to the safety of His care.
We serve an awesome and loving God. Daily we should acknowledge all He so gracefully gives us.
Today I will set my eyes upon You
My Lord and God
I will give You praise
and adoration
You alone are my rock
You are the one who
makes me whole
I give You my heart
You are beyond compare.
